We started with an assortment of empanadas all of which were forgetful the chorizo was ok but the chimi churi sauce was a little sweet. Skirt steaks were thin but tasty The Fries that came with the sandwich were underdone and the Mayo on it was tasteless. The short ribs were cut more like Korean Kalbi but not as tender I think they went too far down the rib column because if you were to cut the shortrib into 4 sections 1 had no meat and was just a glob of fat on both rib sections. There was maybee 3 to 4 ozs of meat and I left hungry!

Hard bread with aperizers??? Oh hell no. Luckily Leo was our waiting and he personally saw to it that i got fresh warm bread. Very reasonably priced. I will repeat.

Food Is terrible!! They Just don't care about the clients chicken taste like plastic It's a shame since sunny isles doesn't have many options... Could be great if they hire a real chef with experience.

Visited today for the first time, since I wanted to use my Groupon. I ordered a quarter pounder burger the price was $8.95 , if I wanted toppings it will be 50 cents extra each item. I asked for my burger medium well with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It came with fries. About 10 minutes later, I received my burger I was missing the lettuce, kept my mouth shut. I asked the server for some ketchup, patiently waiting no one came. Finally a server from outside was nice enough to bring me some condiments. My brother had some fried calamari and a chicken Cesar salad. I sampled both pretty good taste. As far as for my burger it was very juicy, great seasoning can't complain. I noticed everyone received a basket of bread except me, which felt kind of odd. The server was not the best ,when it came to service. I really felt neglected. I have to return to redeem my voucher with Groupon and hopefully better service next time, I am an excellent tipper when I receive great service, but I did not get it so her tip wasn't reflected her service towards me. Better luck next time. Visited today service was a little better, noticed people had bread baskets and I didn't have one. I asked for basket, this business advertise on Groupon and they are acting like I said a curse word to them. I really enjoyed the foid. I had a baby churrasco with mashed potatoes, it was very well seasoned. My kids had a burger with fries and they also enjoyed it. I wish they had better waiter services. But the food was great.

So I'm waiting for my friend to get out of work and I decide to walk in and check the menu. As I'm looking at the menu, the server walks up and greets me by calling me sir five times and I'm not joking. He insists that I sit at the bar so I'm already in so why not. I look at the menu and after a few minutes and thirty sirs, I finally decided to order "La Barra Lomito" sandwich. Less than 5 minutes later, the sandwich comes out with ciabatta bread full of flour. I'm a bit skeptical as to why a steak sandwich took 5 minutes at this point. In front of me lies the floury mess holding together a five minute creation. I have a smile on my face to cope with the disappointment because the fries aren't fully cooked either. $14 for an undercooked order of fries and a steak sandwich. Needless to say, I won't go back. As an Argentine with server experience, I feel comfortable enough saying that an Argentine themed restaurant with good service is a diamond in the rough. I didn't catch the servers name, but if you happen to come across this review, back off dude, you are intrusive and have a twisted sense of formality. Pay more attention instead of asking me 20 times if I want to order something else. Any good server would not have allowed a floury, soggy sandwich and an undercooked order of flaccid fries to be eaten; not one who is interested in a tip.

Standard Argentine food - which for me generally leans toward yummy. Very reasonable pricing especially for that area. Decent selection of inexpensive, good wine. Food wasn't the best meat I have had, but overall good quality as I would expect. Ambience was good though a bit loud with the band playing. Solid wait staff all around. I recommend.

We came here for breakfast and it was great. They make their own desserts which are amazing. If you don't have room for dessert, get some to take home. The service was great and the place was really nice.

We are staying near here and noticed this restaurant had a groupon and good reviews so we went and we're not disappointed. I had the La Barra burger which was one of the best burgers I have ever had. My husband had the short ribs and those were great too. We also got a piece of cake that was fantastic. I can't remember the name of the cake but it had layers of dulce de leche on the bottom. So amazing!

Giving 1 star cause of: 1. Horrible horrible service!! Attitude, arrogant servers!!! Rude, un-attentive waiters. 2. Food is a little pricier than it really should be , unless you come for happy hour or some special they are running. Average quality food. I got a groupon and when i walked in and just confirmed it, the waiter didn't even want to sit me! After that initial argument, I was seated, yet now one bothered to take my order for 20min! finally after I placed an order, I realized that bred wasn't provided - why? apparently you only get bread there if you ask for it or you are a large group. Oh! and in the beginning I had to get my own menu!! cause waiters were "too busy" not doing their job of giving menus to customers. In addition, desert? well, no one asked about it! - again I had to get desert menu on my own and waited 20 min for them to bring it - and they didn't! so i had to come to the waiter and just ask to give it to me now (that is after waiting 20min) and make it to go. Food: well, average. not great, not bad, just ok/good. I saw a lot of people ordering sandwiches, so no one ordered any "real dinner" food, instead lots of sandwiches and pizza. Food is pricey (except for the sandwiches), so I you really are paying for live music and karaoke rather than well prepared food. Place: karaoke - that was nice, great for groups who like karaoke. that was the best part about the place. If you want to be treated like dirt and you don't care... then this place offer great karaoke, nice live music and fairly spacious for groups.

Nice place in a shopping plaza. A surprise. We went on a monday night invited to an event and the place was packed. The food took too long but we assumed it was because everybody showed up for the event at the same time. The wait was worth: The parrillada was really good, with chorizo, blood sausage, sweetbreads and different meat and chicken cuts; the menu says it's for two people but it's good for three actually. The only thing that is not consistent with the size of the parrillada are the sides: they are too small. Service is really friendly and they made us feel really good even when they were busy and their kitchen was slow. Will definitely come back.

This place is really hidden in the shopping center, but it is worth finding. The service needs a bit of improvement but the place is really a good find. . the food is good ...the place does have entertainment and karaoke some nights so call before hand because it gets so loud you can not hear what anyone is saying.

At first I thought I would be leaving a 5 star review for sure ,because the waiter was friendly and also it seemed like the food will be great. I ordered vegan tortilla and it was very tasteless no salt or anything ,I cook bad but I am sure I could of done it better myself lol. Also I got the esplanades with spinach.I was super hungry but couldn't satisfy my needs it was just such a poor quality food...Already so upset I asked if I can get a soap and get a refund since I only made 2 bites and didn't want to continue eating. The waiter asked the owner and so they said they always make it same way so I cant get a refund.Decided to get a dessert knowing its already prepared and don't have to be cooked. The water they gave me tasted like toilet water and I am not even joking ! Just to mention something-I am not picky but very disappointed by this place and also the service. They got a great location and could do so much with it -instead they leave it trashy but by being cheap like that and not caring they lose more.

Nice family atmosphere. Everything on the menu is delicious. We went with a large party and we each ordered something different. Empanadas, provoleta, pizza, sandwich migas, pollo empanizado, burger, pumpkin gnocchi, cannelloni de la Casa with spinach. You must finish with a dessert, we ordered chocolate cake, dulce de leche crepes and different flavors of gelato. Dulce de leche gelato was delicious! If you are in the area visiting, don't settle for a chain restaurant and try this place out! Everyone in or family was satisfied even smaller kids who just wanted a slice of pizza and ice cream. Go!

Came here for dinner not knowing what to expect. We ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer and the baby churrasco as our entrees. The fried calamari came with cold marinara sauce; I would have liked the marinara sauce to be warm, not cold. There wasn't anything great about the crunchy calamari, but it wasn't bad either. The churrascos were cooked perfectly according to our requested meat temperatures. The sides were more generous than other restaurants that serve similar food. Price-wise, good for the location. Service was fine. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to return since it's food you can find all over Miami, but I'd possibly revisit if I lived around the area.

Expensive, small portions. One steak was ok, the other had a strange, mealy texture.

Argentine. Meat. Orgy. They weren't playing around while coming up with this concept. Not your ordinary Miami-Argentine restaurant, La Barra is a full-out grub spot, accompanied with awesome bands, lots of "Che, boludo!" chants that complete an authentic Argentine experience. At La Barra, the Porteños know what the locals want: Meat. All kinds of meat, too, like a foot-long Milanesa, one-pound burgers, prime cut meats straight from the Paris of Latin America -- all very radicalized, and it's all in Sunny Isles, ironically. They serve a Chivito sándwich, which although is Uruguayan, gives any Uruguayan establishment a run for its money. La Barra's chivito has a twist, it's called a Chacarero ($12.95), with strong Argentine-Chilean roots, lord all-mighty! So, what's the difference between the Chivito and Chacarero? Bacon. Yes. Bacon. Ciabatta bread: 5/5 Thinly cut steak: 5/5 Mozzarella cheese: 5/5 Ham: 5/5 Eggs: 5/5 Red peppers: 5/5 Onions: 5/5 Lettuce & tomato: 5/5 Bacon: That's always a 5. There's nothing that fails with this sandwich, it's one of the best I've ever had, in all of south Florida. You have to check out La Barra, this place is a gem.
